I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
